Tesco Lotus has opened its a zero carbon store in Thailand, the first of its kind in Asia, the retail announced today (December 15).
The store, which is located in Pra Bang, underlines Tesco's commitment to become a carbon neutral company by 2050, the group said in a statement.
The store boasts a wind turbine, earth-based walls, maximum natural lighting and rainwater tanks to reduce its environmental impact.
