Nisa’s own-label Heritage range is performing above and beyond expected sales since its reformulation and rebranding, according to the c-store retailer.

Rebranded Heritage products - including an array of fruit and vegetable lines - started hitting the shelves from June 2014, and the range enjoyed a sales increase of £1.4 million compared to the same period last year.

Since the launch of rebranded Heritage fruit in October 2014, there has been a 24.4 per cent uplift in year-on-year sales.

A four-pack of Heritage bananas is the biggest selling fruit line in the range, and additional best-selling fruit lines include Heritage white grapes (500g), Heritage blueberries (125g) and a six-pack of Heritage medium oranges.

Since the launch of rebranded Heritage vegetables in October 2014, the performance year-on-year has seen a 4.4 per cent uplift.

Heritage closed-cup mushrooms (250g) is the biggest selling line, and additional best-selling vegetable lines are Heritage white potatoes (2kg), a six-pack of Heritage salad tomatoes and a three-pack of Heritage large onions.

Ian Bishop, Nisa marketing director, said: “We are proud of our newly formulated own-label range, with the recent figures proving that the products are flying off the shelves because they are not only full of flavour, but they also stand out with impactful and easy-to-read packaging.

“So far we have transformed over 500 lines, and by the summer we will have overhauled 300 more lines.”
