Yorkshire fresh produce firm Troy Foods has appointed Peter Canetti as managing director of its rapidly-expanding salads division.
Canetti joins from his role of production director at Walkers Deli, part of the Samworth Brothers Group, and a career in chilled food manufacturing over the past 26 years. Prior to Walkers Deli, he spent six years with Greencore as general manager at its Spalding food-to-go operation.
In his new role, Canetti will aim to further grow and develop the salads business both by seeking opportunities with current and new customers as the company expands its range of dressed salads, including coleslaw, potato and pasta salads. The company also supplies a wide selection of savoury dips, sandwich fillings, snacks and speciality salads.
Canetti said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with huge potential where I believe my input as part of the management team can make a real difference in helping take Troy Foods to the next level.
