The AHDB is seeking a new board member who will also chair the potato sector board.
The new member will help shape the strategic direction for the whole organisation, as well as additional responsibilities for the potato sector. A second vacancy is available as AHDB board member and chair of the pork sector board.
AHDB chairman Peter Kendall said: “These board opportunities occur at a significant time for AHDB as we look to deliver a fresh strategy to inspire the food and farming industry to respond to the challenges of Brexit and changing domestic and international markets.
“We are seeking leaders who will be ambitious for the AHDB and what we can deliver for UK agriculture. They will also need to understand the complex pork/potato market dynamics and be able to lead those sector boards with passion, vision and strategic oversight.”
