Tesco’s former head of fresh food sourcing for Asia Martin O’Sullivan has joined UK fruit supplier Richard Hochfeld as director of business development.
His role will include developing Hochfeld’s already well-established business with Tesco, as well as looking at new opportunities at home and abroad.
O’Sullivan has previously worked in fruit category manager roles at Tesco both before and after his two-year stint in Asia.
Hochfeld MD Alan Guindi said: “Martin has joined the company as director of business development and will be bringing with him an insight from his time at Tesco, both in the UK and in South East Asia.
“My colleagues and I are all thrilled to have him on the team at this exciting time in the industry.”
