Jonathan Tremayne has taken the helm at UK suppliers Global Pacific, after being appointed chief executive of Global Produce Food Group.
Tremayne left Asda’s buying arm, IPL, in June 2018 having joined the company in September 2012.
IPL credited Tremayne as being “instrumental in helping shape Produce into a very successful and productive business”.
Tremayne’s new outfit, Global Pacific, supplies Morrisons and Aldi with various fruit categories including citrus, grapes and berries.
He previously worked at Emmett UK and G’s.
