David Antico has joined Sydney-based fresh produce service provider, Fresh Solutions Group, as senior manager of procurement and sales.
Antico is a produce import specialist with over seven years experience focused on the Australian import trade, and 18 years in the produce retail industry.
“Being a third-generation produce professional, David has key strengths in the development and maintenance of relationships with both customers and suppliers,” said David Carpenter, Fresh Solutions Group’s director of finance and operations. “He also has a strong knowledge of produce and the connections and networks that come with living and breathing this industry for the last 25 years.”
Carpenter said Antico’s role would focus on growing new categories within the company.
