Family run independent retailer About Life opened its first store in Melbourne, with the ‘grand opening’ taking place on 30 April.
The Port Melbourne store is the first for Victoria, adding to About Life’s seven stores in New South Wales, located around Sydney including stores at Bondi Junction, Bondi Junction, Cammeray, Double Bay, Lane Cove, Rozelle, Surry Hills, and more recently Crows Nest.
“This is an incredibly exciting stage in About Life’s growth. We have seen huge success in our existing Sydney stores, and Australians have overwhelmingly embraced natural living in recent years,” co-founder Tammie Phillips said in a press release. “Opening our first Melbourne store heralds a new era for us.
'We couldn’t be more thrilled to share the About Life philosophy with one of Melbourne’s premier urban beachside areas, where health and wellness are real priorities.”
The About Life store, run by Phillips and her sister Jodie Stewart, offers a range of staples, local fresh produce and private label products.
