US retail giant Walmart has announced the reappointment of Scott Price in his former role as president and CEO of Walmart Asia.
Price was promoted to executive vice president, strategy and international development, in April this year, but will now take on the additional responsibilities as regional head of Asia, working from Walmart’s global headquarters in the US.
In the interim, head of Walmart China Greg Foran took on the chief executive role in Asia from April to July, before being appointed president and CEO of Walmart US.
Walmart operates more than 850 stores across China, Japan and India.
