Tesco.com has found itself in trouble with Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) following a complaint from online retailer Amazon.co.uk The ASA have upheld Amazon.co.uk's complaint that Tesco was misleading customers when they claimed in national newspapers that 'Tesco.com is 10% cheaper than Amazon.co.uk on chart books'.

Amazon.co.uk were unable to say in what way this statement was misleading simply saying it was unspecific.

The ASA agreed but the ruling carries no penalty.
