Some 3,000 buyers and dozens of delegations from 50 countries, including executives of large European supermarkets and corporations, and importers are expected to visit the annual international exhibition, Agro Mashov, which will open on January 13-14, 2010 in the Tel Aviv Exhibition Grounds.
The 20th edition of the event will commemorate 150 years of Israeli Agriculture. The exhibition will include a Vegetables Flowers Fruit summit for marketing of fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, spices and organic produce, as well as hosting an international symposium about fresh produce marketing.
The symposium hopes to bring together the expertise of the growers and the professional knowledge of the buyers to create a cohesive and profitable produce marketing process
Geographically situated between three continents, Israel makes for an ideal meeting point for the professional agricultural industry from all over the world, the organisers claim.
The traditional innovations booth displaying agro-technologies from Israel and other countries and booths displaying the largest flower exchanges in the world (Germany and the Netherlands) will also be on display.
