As reported in last week's Journal, the Royal Mail's stamps happily coincide with the launch this week of the government's official 5-a-day logo.

Harriott told freshinfo: 'I don't think this is just to help kids get into fruit and veg, I know I had fun putting the stamps and stickers together earlier. It's a good way of getting people interested in both fruit and vegetables again.' The 10 self-adhesive stamps feature some of the most popular produce lines, along with 76 character-building stickers to help you add ears, lips and glasses to design your own individual stamps.
