Allison Risebro won the MVS Regional Foodservice Supplier of the Year award at this year’s Re:fresh.
The New Covent Garden Market-based firm opened in 1979 with six clients and now has 500 customers in the London area, with four of the original line-up on the books to this day.
A significant rebranding exercise will be undertaken this year.
The firm, boasts an annual turnover of more than £9 million, with more than 400 orders a day made with its fleet of 16 temperature-controlled vehicles.
The team insists on first-name relationships with all of its customers, is a founder member of Local to London and was one of the first companies to be awarded Higher British Retail Consortium accreditation to Global Standard Food Issue 4.
FreshDrop and JR Holland Food Services were also finalists in this category.
