Following earlier reports this week on freshinfo it was confirmed yesterday that Richard Baker will be the new chief executive of Boots.
Baker who leaves Asda after eight years service has parted amicably from the Supermarket chain. And according to the Financial Times, received a crate of champagne from Asda chief Tony de Nunzio.
Baker will take up his position with Boots in September.
