There are now less than two weeks to go until this year’s Re:fresh Conference, which takes place at the London Marriott on May 28.
The theme of the day is Beyond the Big Four, as Re:fresh, organised jointly by FPJ and the Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC), takes a look at the business that exists outside the dominant big four supermarket chains.
Debbie Robinson of The Co-op will give delegates an overview of changes at the UK’s number-five chain after a momentous year in its long and distinguished history. James Walton of IGD and Promar’s John Giles will analyse the customer base in the UK and the opportunities available to suppliers.
A panel debate hosted by celebrity chef and fresh produce enthusiast Rachel Green will bring together representatives of c-store operators, wholesalers, foodservice suppliers and importers to discuss the landscape and how it is evolving through a turbulent period.
Kicking off the day at 10.30am is Gregg Wallace, fresh produce celebrity and MasterChef presenter. He will be followed on the agenda by DEFRA minister Jane Kennedy, who will be recording her presentation in advance.
A wide range of delegates from across all sectors of the trade have already registered to attend.
To join them for one of the best networking opportunities of the year in the UK and take advantage of our crunch-busting buy-one-get-one-free offer, click on www.refresh.eu/register or call Angie Stuart at the FPC on 01733 237117 for more details.
