Just 10 days remain to take advantage of the early bird delegate offer for FPJ’s first-ever regional conference, which is heading to Scotland at the end of February.

Log on to www.freshinfo.com/conferences before February 8 for full programme details and to register you and your colleagues at the reduced rate of £50 plus VAT.

The first FPJ Conference takes place at Perth Racecourse on February 23, when more than 100 local growers, wholesalers and independent retailers are expected to attend to discuss the opportunities in Scotland’s fast-growing fresh fruit and vegetable supply chain.

FPJ editor Laura Gould will host the event, which will see speakers from some of Scotland’s key fresh fruit and vegetable companies and organisations debate issues that face the sector in 2010. What changes will the renovation of Glasgow’s busy wholesale market bring? How can local suppliers link up more effectively with independent retailers? What new opportunities are there for local growers?

Exhibition space will be available alongside the conference and sponsorship opportunities are still available. For more information, contact laura@fpj.co.uk or ian@fpj.co.uk

More FPJ Conferences are planned for 2010. Watch this space for more information.
