Dutch producer Rainbow Growers has launched a new range of vegetables flow-packed in Easter packaging.
The pack includes bell peppers - grown throughout the Netherlands - chillies, papaya and limes and several other pieces of snack fruit and vegetables.
The firm decided to celebrate the holiday with chick and egg adorned packaging.
On the innovative idea, Rainbow communications manager Ingrid van der Voort, told freshinfo: “To keep promoting your products in times of economic stress is very important to be able to compete in the market.
"You have to stay active and innovative in order to sell products for reasonable prices and to serve your clients in the best possible way.”
All Rainbow products are centrally sorted, packed and sold at the Agricultural Logistics Centre in De Lier, the Netherlands.
