Seed producer Elsoms has begun preparations for two open days, set to take place 10 and 11 October, at the company’s Spalding-based growing site.
The annual open days are designed to showcase Elsoms’ wide range of crops, with sprout and cabbage already planted specifically for the two dates.
Robin Wood, managing director, said: “This is an important event for us and we would like people to see our full range of crops and possibly find something new.”
Keeley Watson, crop specialist, added: “Visitors can expect to see new varities and crops of everything from carrots, parsnips, swede, leeks, cauliflower and runner beans."
