The East Malling Research Association is holding its first ever member’s day to discuss ways to achieve environmental and economic stability in horticulture.
Taking place on January 26, organisers hope have brought together a variety of national experts, and aim to help growers deal with problems regarding production, water use, waste, and soil quality.
Speakers will cover topics; the environmental impact of horticultural productions, the influence of climate change, new waste regulations, diffuse pollution in top fruit production, efficient use of water, herbicide use and biodiversity.
