Foodex Meatex will welcome an international trade delegation when it opens its doors on March 14.
Fifty-three management level delegates from processing and packaging related organisations in eight countries will be visiting the show, to assess commercial opportunities with UK-based companies and looking at the latest innovation and technological advances.
Countries represented include: Bulgaria, Egypt, Turkey, Romania, Morocco, Poland, Lithuania and Hungary.
Foodex Meatex chief executive Steve Bax is delighted with the interest from abroad. He said: “This is great news for our exhibitors. In addition to being able to show the delegates what they have to offer, by tapping into the delegates’ expert market knowledge, it will enable exhibitors to gain insight into market trends and prospect in each country.”
