Each supplement provides flow diagrams of typical crop production processes and highlights the types of hazards that can arise – including foreign bodies, micro-organisms and chemical contaminants.

Earlier supplements cover lettuce, apples and wheat. As well as those involved in growing the crops, the supplements will be of interest to fresh produce suppliers and packers, raw materials and ingredient suppliers and food companies further along the supply chain.
