Harrods has launched a new range of fresh seasonal produce, grown exclusively by growers and farmers in the East of England.

Working with specialist seasonal brand From My Farm, Harrods will now provide a comprehensive range of best in season British produce throughout the year.

Each product in the From My Farm range is clearly stamped with the name and location of the grower, providing the shopper with the true provenance of the produce.

Charlotte Falkingham, founder of From My Farm, which is part of the Produce World group of companies, said: “In the UK, there is a growing demand for seasonal, British fruit and vegetables, so we are sure the new range will prove popular. We know consumers want to support British producers and our research has also shown that shoppers feel produce tastes better when it is in season in the UK.”

The new range reflects From My Farm’s environmental stance and environment-friendly packaging, including small compostable tags, recyclable and compostable paper and new home-compostable plastic bags have replaced traditional packaging.
