Loadhog has won a Silver Award in the Institute of Packaging 2004 Starpack Awards.

It is another prestigious award for the robust plastic lid which secures loads to pallets and eliminates the need for strapping and shrink wrapping. The Sheffield designed and made innovative product which has gained impressive support from some of the leading supermarkets.

Loadhog sales and marketing manager Simon de Jaeghere received the Starpack Silver Award at the Packaging Industry dinner. He said: "This is tremendous recognition for Loadhog. Organisations and products recognised by Starpack are at the forefront of innovation and technological advancement."

This is the company's third success following British Green Champion in the Paper and Packaging section of the National Green Apple Environmental Awards and the Tetra Pak Environmental Design title in the 2003 Food Industry Awards.
