Managing director Edward Gough believes there is a huge potential for other caramelised fruits such as pineapples, peaches, apricots, oranges, lemons, limes and apples for recipe dishes, pizza toppings and sauces.

'Caramelising the fruit enhances the flavour, by baking it with added ingredients you get a toffee apple effect which is very sweet and ideal for a range of food products,' he said.

'We also have high hopes for our wide range of pureed fruits that are ideal for dairy products, desserts and drink manufacturers.'
