The British Growers Association has unveiled a new website at www.britishgrowers.org.

The site explains the range of work carried out by the growers' organisation on behalf of growers and producers. It also aims to highlight the important contribution horticulture makes to daily life in the UK.

Chief executive James Hallett said: 'The British Growers Association has long worked in the background for growers. We believe that now is the right moment to highlight our activities more widely and proactively.

'We want to do all that we can to make a positive difference for horticulture here in the UK. Therefore it’s important that we publicise our capabilities and experience across the sector. The website will grow and we welcome feedback to enable its successful development.”
