Pink Lady Apples have again teamed up with Fitness First health clubs to set their members a challenge.

The initiative is running throughout February and motivates people to exercise together and increase their gym attendances, the desire for a healthier lifestyle and the chance to win a top prize of a week in the Spanish resort of La Manga.

Fitness First visitors will receive a card to fill out in order to win a certain number of points for each type of workout completed. Once 20 points have been achieved, the card can be entered into the prize draw, which is expected to attract at least 20,000 participants.

Jean-Michel Salon, marketing director of Association Pink Lady Europe, said: 'Pink Lady Apples are tasty and nutritious. This promotion allows the Pink Lady brand to interact with a key target audience during their valuable leisure time to great effect.' The event is being publicised throughout 140 clubs, many in close proximity to supermarkets. Additionally, prizes of a year's free membership to Fitness First are being offered through regional press competitions.
