Rudolph Day launches new season and website

New season Rudolph potatoes were promoted this week with a sample drop to retailers, restaurateurs and chefs and the launch of a new website.

The red maincrop potato’s online presence will feature news, grower profiles and recipes by TV chef Rachel Green including Moroccan shepherd’s pie, pavta batata and fiery red wedges.

The website, www.rudulphpotatoes.com, launched on 21 September to coincide with Rudolph Day.

Maria Paice, Fenmarc’s marketing manager, said: “The new website is just part of our ongoing commitment towards the Rudolph brand. It contains information on all aspects of Rudolph - including its key features and benefits, how it’s grown and some delicious recipe ideas too. Rudolph is a tried and tested variety and, like all our produce, is grown by our dedicated experts across the country who of course you can ‘meet’ on the site.”
