The World Fruit & Vegetable Expo, due to take place at the ExCel centre in London next month, has been cancelled.
The annual trade show, which was to host exhibitors from Kenya, Algeria, Kurdistan, Morocco and Portugal, has suffered from continuing low visitor numbers for several years.
A short statement on the event’s website read: “It is with deepest regret that Green World Exhibitions Ltd is forced to announce the cancellation of our World Fruit & Vegetable Expo 2011.
“It has been a tremendously difficult year both within the UK and internationally and it has not been possible to find enough exhibitors able to participate.”
