Frame won the title with a A$66,000 bid

In what the Brisbane Markets (BML) have called a “highly spirited bidding competition”, Frame took the Royal title with a A$66,000 bid, taking home the first symbolic tray of mangoes.

“The Mango Auction has become an iconic annual tradition and is the highlight of the Brisbane Markets’ calendar,” said BML deputy chair, Peter Tighe. “It is a great opportunity for our industry to gather together and give back to Queensland families in need.”

Proceeds from the 2025 Brisbane Markets Mango Auction go to two charities, Redkite, which provides practical, financial and mental health support to families with a child facing cancer, and The Lady Musgrave Trust, which helps young women experiencing or at risk of homelessness transition to a life of opportunity and stability.

“We are delighted with the result from this year’s event, which raised more than A$81,000 to support the vital work of Redkite and The Lady Musgrave Trust,” said Tighe. “We are also pleased to report that the outlook for this year’s mango season is strong, with a very good quality, high yield of fruit expected.”
