The 14th edition of Interpoma, the world’s only international trade show entirely dedicated to the apple sector, is less than two months away, with the industry set to converge at Fiera Bolzano, Italy, on 25-27 November.

For the first time, the event will run from Wednesday to Friday, bringing together growers, companies, researchers, buyers and professionals from across the entire supply chain.

A major highlight will be Interpoma Congress, scheduled for 26 and 27 November. The first day, “New Approaches in Spraying Technology. Efficiency meets sustainability”, will explore new application technologies and their role in making orchard operations more precise, efficient and sustainable. The second, “Regional chances and Global challenges: Latin America in Focus”, will turn the spotlight on international scenarios, with a focus on Brazil, Chile and Mexico, and will include discussions on competitiveness, domestic markets, exports, climate change, logistics and commercial strategies.

Spraying application technologies will be the common thread running throughout the 2026 edition, with a particular focus on digitalisation, precision, efficiency and sustainability in orchard management. The theme will connect the event’s main formats, from the exhibition area and the Interpoma Award to The Orchard of the Future.

Hosted in the FieraMesse H1 Eventspace, The Orchard of the Future will give visitors the opportunity to take a closer look at precision-spraying drones, smart spraying systems, sensors, control and calibration technologies, and UV-C applications. The area will also host the Visitors’ Choice Award, allowing industry professionals to vote for the most interesting technologies on display.

Spraying technologies will also take centre stage at the Interpoma Award, the international prize recognising the most innovative solutions for more precise, efficient and sustainable apple growing. The entries will be assessed by a technical jury chaired by Massimo Tagliavini.

The programme will also include ten Interpoma Tours, all held in English, taking professionals and members of the press beyond the exhibition halls to visit farms, cooperatives and research centres across Trentino-Alto Adige. The tours will cover topics ranging from applied research and digitalisation to organic production, water management, processing and storage.

Also returning is ipoma, Interpoma’s official magazine. Now in its fourth edition, it is evolving into an increasingly digital-first format, offering in-depth content on trends, the sector’s future, and key players in the international apple industry.

With only a few weeks to go, 400 exhibitors from 20 countries have already been confirmed, with international companies accounting for more than 20 per cent of the total. The event will also have a strong international presence, with buyers coordinated by ICE, 90 US and Canadian industry professionals from IFTA, Australian representatives from Apal, as well as additional groups expected from Mexico, Chile and China. This international line-up reflects Interpoma’s role as a meeting point for key markets and leading players across the global apple supply chain.
