Naimo Citrus, a family-owned operation based in New South Wales, has sold two of its orchards and is now looking to sell its remaining assets, according to a release from Colliers.

The remaining assets – Farm 1245 and Farm 442 – comprise of a large-scale mixed citrus orchard and an integrated production and packing facility positioned near Leeton, approximately 70km southeast of Griffith.

Since acquiring their first farm in 1951, the Naimo family has grown the operation into a significant supplier of premium oranges, lemons and mandarins, distributing under three recognised brands to the Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne wholesale markets.

The two available assets are the main production farm (Farm 442) of the Naimo enterprise alongside the main operations hub (Farm 1245). Together they feature a well-balanced planting profile including 61ha of oranges, 45ha of lemons and 22ha of mandarins. Naimo has also recently introduced dwarf citrus varieties to streamline harvesting and improve labour efficiency.

A key component of the remaining offering is the modern 1,730m² packing facility, which is equipped with specialised grading and packing machinery, cold storage, and staff amenities. The facility forms the operational hub of the enterprise and supports its post-harvest handling.

Colliers national director - Agribusiness, Jesse Manuel said the site was “an exceptional turnkey operation”.

“Its meticulous management and high-quality produce have set a benchmark in the industry for decades,” he said. “With premium infrastructure, established supply channels and diversity of citrus plantings, the remaining assets present a compelling opportunity for investors.”

Tim Altschwager, Colliers national director said: “The added benefit of the extensive water security is a real advantage of the Naimo offering”.

The two farms include complementary building improvements, and an extensive list of plant and equipment is also available. The remaining Naimo Citrus Farms are being offered for sale by Private Treaty.
