Perfection Fresh has launched a pack shaped like a football jersey in celebration of the partnership between Qukes baby cucumbers and Football Australia’s MiniRoos.

Available for a limited time only, the “unique, eye-catching” pack is the ideal size for sharing, and features recipe ideas, according to Perfection Fresh.

Consumers can access recipes via a QR code linking to almost 100 Qukes recipes, from after school snacks and lunchboxes to entertaining with fresh grazing boards.

“We are so excited to launch this limited-edition football inspired pack to excite shoppers,” said Perfection Fresh CEO Michael Simonetta.

“We are proud to promote such a fantastic, fresh, healthy product to kids. We hope this pack brings something new and exciting to the produce department, encouraging adults and families to enjoy Qukes as a healthy snack.”

The launch of the new pack coincides with the Fifa World Cup and Football Australia’s new Play Football campaign, which kicked off this month. MiniRoos is a nationwide introductory programme designed for children of all abilities, aged 4-11 years.

Specially bred for their small size, Qukes measure between 8.5cm and 12cm long. They are described as having a “crisp delicate skin and flesh” with a “mild refreshing taste”, offering a nutritious snack for kids and adults alike.

“Qukes are the perfect half-time snack – handheld, portable and no waste,” said Perfection Fresh. “They contain high water content with mineral salts like potassium and magnesium for hydration, B Vitamins for energy metabolism, and Vitamin C and zinc.”
