Peter Klapwijk is a green architect and strategist and is an expert in practical green knowledge, cultivation, lighting and horticultural innovation. Having started out as a grower and advisor to horticultural companies around the world on cultivation and organisational matters, Peter founded the Improvement Centre, where the latest ideas in horticultural technology are tested and demonstrated. Today he works with leading companies on the latest developments in cultivation and innovation.

Jo Lambrecht is sales and marketing manager at leading Belgian cooperative BelOrta, having worked previously at Coöbra, Vanco Belgium and Crop's. BelOrta is the leading Belgian organisation in terms of production, range and marketing of tomatoes, with 100 growers providing more than 50 varieties in both conventional and organic. Getting consumers to enjoy tomatoes healthily is a key driver in BelOrta’s search for and marketing of new varieties and concepts.

Massimo Bellotti is export sales director for fruit and vegetables at Carton Pack, with 25 years' experience in the produce packaging industry and a background in agronomy and retail. Through Carton Pack's flexible thermoformed plastics and paper packaging, Massimo is heavily involved in current environmental efforts, promoting and developing innovative and sustainable packaging ideas that consider the main issues for packers: shelf-life, mechanisation, transport, marketing and display.

Jan Doldersum has worked for Rijk Zwaan for more than 18 years, working in various positions and countries, including business development in China for four years. He is currently manager chain & retail, with global responsibility for the policy domains of retail, trade and consumers, as well as for strategy development and implementation of brands and concepts for these target groups.
