Emirates SkyCargo has been honoured by the Middle East logistics industry, picking up three prestigious accolades at the annual Supply Chain and Transport Awards (SCATA).

The freight division of UAE-based Emirates collected the Outstanding Achievement Award and was named Cargo Operator of the Year (Commercial Airline), while Ram Menen, Emirates’ divisional senior vice-president cargo, was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

"Recognition of our ongoing commitment to providing our customers world-class service and quality products gives Emirates SkyCargo great pride," said Menen, who attended the ceremony at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers hotel. "While it is a great personal honour to enter the Hall of Fame, it is an achievement that I must share with the entire Emirates SkyCargo team whose innovative thinking, hard work and dedication make all of our success possible."

The SCATA awards are organised by magazine publisher ITP Business – which includes transportation magazines Logistics Middle East, ArabianSupplyChain.com and Aviation Business - and are decided by a panel of experts selected from within the Middle East logistics industry.
