Greefa provides melon solution

Greefa unveiled a new MSE-MXL sorting machine at fruit Logistica, aiming to meet the requirements of melon growers.

The machine has been developed in close collaboration with Eldad Krook, an experienced Israeli melon grower.

The tool enables exporters and marketeers of melons sell produce with guaranteed brix levels and eliminate below par fruit from the supply chain. It also provides a function that can combine a variety of pecification options, such as weight size and colour.

Though specifically designed for melons, the machine can also handle other produce lines, with iceberg lettuce particularly singled out by Greefa.
