Langmead Group CEO Ian Summerfield is leaving the business after 27 years to take up a role in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Langmead board is currently engaged in a recruitment process with Summerfield due to leave in September. His replacement will be announced in due course, a statement said.
“I leave the business in great shape, with a clear, agreed growth plan and a strong and talented management team who are excited about delivering our herb strategy,” Summerfield said.
“I am hugely proud of all that the Langmeads team have achieved over the years and will follow their continued success from afar.
“I feel extremely fortunate to have had the fantastic opportunities that my career with David Langmead has offered, and thank all our employees who have supported me so passionately throughout my time here and made it so enjoyable.”
