Multinational company Tsao Pao Chee (TPC) says acquisition will bolster its Food Systems division, with Euro-Atlantic continuing to operate under established brand
Tsao Pao Chee (TPC) has announced it has acquired a majority stake in Euro-Atlantic, one of Malaysia’s most established specialty produce distributors which serves a customer base spanning leading retailers, hotels and fine dining institutions.

Headquartered in Singapore, multinational family enterprise TPC focuses on two key areas. Its core industrial operations centre on maritime shipping, and logistics and supply chain management. The group is also a proponent of the well-being economy, which prioritises human and environmental health over economic growth. Its Octave business arm focuses on health, wellness, lifestyle and personal growth spaces, while the group also makes impact investments, directing capital into health providers and community-focused real estate.
In a statement on its LinkedIn account, TPC described the acquisition of Euro-Atlantic as the next major move in its “well-being economy investment strategy”, adding that it “bolsters its Food Systems pillar” and reflects the group’s commitment to boost food accessibility and security across the region.
“Food is central to well-being, not only in what we eat, but how it is grown, sourced, and moved and who it reaches,” said Niap Juan Loh, TPC’s group chief corporate officer. “Euro-Atlantic has built something strong over more than three decades. We intend to build on it, investing in what already works and growing its reach, so that it can help shape a more resilient and responsible food system across the region.”
Founded in 1992, Euro-Atlantic has spent over three decades building an established business platform based on a reliable cold chain infrastructure, food safety standards and long-standing customer relationships, TPC said. “This is a business built with care, one that enables us to participate more responsibly in how food moves from source to table across South-East Asia,” the group said in its statement.
“For 34 years, Euro-Atlantic Malaysia has been guided by a simple belief: that our work should make a meaningful difference to the people we serve,” said Ebby Loo, managing director of Euro-Atlantic. “As a member of TPC, we will continue to build on our shared purpose and help shape a more responsible food system across the region.”
Euro-Atlantic will join TPC’s Food Systems division and continue operating under its established brand, with continuity for its customers, suppliers, and employees, the statement said.
Euro-Atlantic won the Asia Fruit Award for ‘Importer of the Year’ at Asia Fruit Logistica 2020. The company was recognised for its pioneering efforts to introduce new products and sources to the Malaysian market as well as its ongoing investments in infrastructure, facilities and staff training to ensure proper handling of speciality products.
In 2025, it moved into a new five-storey headquarters and warehouse operation in Kuala Lumpur – the first Green Building Index-certified operation in Malaysia’s fresh produce business, equipped with modern cold chain facilities. Today, Euro-Atlantic operates seven business units and employs around 350 people, wih a fleet of more than 55 refrigerated trucks.
