Fresca Group chairman Chris Mack and The Co-operative’s David Gardner are just two of the 15 big names in fresh produce that have signed up to be mentors as part of new initiative Fresh Inspiration’s conference and support network for young people.
Set up by Greencell’s MDS graduate Adam Hill with former Sainsbury’s food director Ian Merton, Growing Direct’s Carol Ford, Eden Search’s David Macaulay and Baker Coaching Ltd’s Jennifer Baker, the conference will take place on 26 January 2012 in Huntingdon.
It will will cover issues like trends and future developments, and innovation and evolution in the supply chain, as well as advice and guidance from mentors.
