The Kent-based company, which also has production in Spain, Morocco and Portugal, said the move builds on the success of signing with the exclusive Molari Gil programme of premium raspberry genetics.

Chambers has been growing Marionnet Label genetics (CRIV) for many years, and has been working in partnership with CRIV for the past four years, driving UK selections from its genetic base.

Tim Chambers, managing director of Chambers, explained: “Over the years we have built up a strong relationship with the team at Marionnet Label and are proud to join their group. The new genetics have proved themselves market leaders in the countries we farm, and we are looking forward to developing over the years ahead.

“The long-term commitment from our customers enables us to commit to these excellent programs, to deliver strong berries, excellent genetic flavour profile and with product quality that we can use across all our producing countries.”

A spokesperson for CRIV added: “Partnering with WB Chambers is a fantastic opportunity and ensures the highest standards for our premium raspberry genetics. Their decades of expertise in berry cultivation, commitment to sustainable farming, and rigorous quality control guarantee exceptional flavor, consistency and freshness.

“With their strong supply chain and collaborative approach, WB Chambers is the ideal partner to bring a truly superior raspberry to the market.”
