Anna's Best is marketed in Migros

Multivac’s visit to Freshconex in Berlin was a “great success”, according to head of marketing Valeska Haux.

Reinforcing its reputation as a specialist in complete and sustainable packaging solutions, Multivac was able to bring home many promising leads. Along with the innovative FreshSafe concept, an award-winning integrated packaging solution developed in association with a number of partners from retail and industry drew visitors to the exhibition stand.

The tray packaging solution was developed for the convenience sector and is produced on the Multivac T 700 traysealer. Presented with the Swiss Star Award last fall, the pack combines practical design features with the very latest in hygiene standards, which are becoming increasingly important in this sector.

The clever packaging concept includes its own fork, which is integrated into the pack but wrapped separately, again in accordance with strict hygiene standards. The finished product is sold in Switzerland by the Migros supermarket chain under the Anna’s Best label.

The original idea for this pack design came from the Swiss manufacturer of fresh convenience food, Josef Müller Gemüse AG, a member of the pan-European Florette Group. Also involved in developing the packaging alongside Josef Müller Gemüse AG were Migros, Bachmann Forming AG and Multivac Switzerland.

Anna’s Best is produced on a T 700 traysealer in conjunction with an MR313 conveyor belt labeller from MR, which is used to label the sealed trays. This labeller can apply paper or film labels to a wide variety of packaging shapes and materials, from above or from the side.
