Syngenta Seeds Vegetables presented two new varieties of pepper at its second working breakfast staged in Agroponiente, Almería, in February.

Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the company’s latest developments and its newest tomato, melon and pepper seeds, as well as preview new pepper varieties Gaston and Alonso.

More than 150 visitors were introduced to Syngenta’s new pepper seeds at the Agroponiente Group’s headquarters.

Both of the new varieties offer outstanding crop traits and multiple resistance. Gaston is a new elongated variety and Alonso is a new red blocky pepper.

David Murcia, product manager at Syngenta Seeds, said the company received a good deal of positive feedback from the event.

“All our objectives have been achieved: we presented our seeds and offered our advice to our clients,” he concluded.
