Reading Scientific Services has launched a UKAS accredited rapid pesticide residue testing service with a five-day turnaround time.
The new service includes a standard 64 residue screen encompassing organophosphates, organochlorides, pyrethroids and other specific residues, which can be detected at levels below the stricter Maximum Residue Limits proposed by the European Union for introduction in 2007.
The analysis has been validated using the ‘blind’ reference samples from FAPAS trials. It is suitable for a wide range of raw materials and compounded foodstuffs.
