Growers Are Us has revealed the creation of a complete line of VegDeLite and FruitDelicious value added products, that the group will introduce at the New York Produce Show in December.
The VegDeLite product line includes five standalone value-added packaged vegetables and seven custom vegetable blends that are packed in 6oz individual serving and 12oz family size microwaveable packages.
Each of the new VegDeLite products are 50 calories or less per serving and are ready to microwave and serve without chopping, washing, mixing and mess.
The 6 oz.VegDeLite product line is aimed at consumers on the go as a healthy snack, while the 12oz family packs are designed as an easy-to-prepare family side dish.
All VegDeLite products are grown and packed in Guatemala and are available year-round, the group noted.
The new FruitDelicious product line includes three unique and exotic fruits that are designed to interest healthy eaters and consumers looking for something new and different - 8oz Baby Plums, 10oz Cherry Plums and 6oz Cape Gooseberries.
