Italian fresh produce company GF Group has made two key directorial appointments at its Argentinean subsidiary Moño Azul.
The group confirmed that, effective 2 November, Luca Barbierato had taken on the role of managing director, with José Carlos Bertolotti appointed as the firm’s sales director.
Barbierato, an Italian national, has been involved in various sectors over the past decade, working as managing director at a number of Italian companies abroad and, in particular, in Argentina.
Argentine Bertolotti, meanwhile, has been a key player in the fresh produce business over the past few years, with particular emphasis on citrus during his time at leading export company Citromax.
Meanwhile, GF Group said that Tonino Beccegato, who has held power of attorney at Moño Azul during the past year and a half, will continue to supervise its progress on the parent company’s behalf.
