Supermarket group Schuitema NV, which operates the C1000 chain in the Netherlands, has appointed Tonn van de Laar as its interim chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Mr Van de Laar replaces Bert Roetert, who resigned on Friday following the completion of the sale of the company to CVC Capital Partners.
He previously worked as chief executive officer of rival supermarket retailer Laurus, which now operates as Super de Boer.
