Preston wholesale fruit and vegetable market will cease trading at its present site on September 25, to reopen at a privately-owned site, on Monday September 27. T Dobson & Sons Produce Ltd, Ralph Livesey Ltd, Spencers Produce and JH Haslam & Son, will all move to the new fresh food distribution centre in north Preston. The premises were built at a total cost of £1.6 million, featuring high tech refrigeration and freezer facilities.
