Direct Laboratories has appointed John Edmunds as an associate. Edmunds will be working with the pesticide team on further development of technical support and added value services.

The company is a provider of high quality pesticide residue testing services, with over 150 customers in the fresh produce supply chain from growers to retailers. Edmunds, a founder director of Audax Audits, has worked for the UK government, the European Commission and the United Nations. He was also instrumental in the creation of the UK national monitoring exercise before establishing the pesticide facility of Restec Laboratories and is looking forward to working with the team at Direct Laboratories. He said: “I am looking forward to contributing to the further expansion of analytical capability and technical support for customers in the food and agrochemical industries.”
