Freshfel's export division is holding its next meeting on July 28, in Brussels.

The agenda for the meeting includes a number of highly relevant issues for the European fresh produce export industry, including the reform of the Common Market Organisation for fruits and vegetables, market access conditions for EU produce in third countries (SPS, WTO and TBT related matters, the EU - Mercosur negotiations, bilateral free trade agreements with Mexico, Chile and the Mediterranean countries and Freshfel's participation in the Commission's recent trade mission to China),

SANCO - related matters (harmonisation of MRLs, EU phytosanitary policy), marketing standards and the promotion of EU produce in third countries.

In addition, the division's new chairman and vice-chairman will be elected, after the recent election of Pino Calcagni, hitherto export chairman, as vice-president of the association.
