Scotts has appointed a new area sales manager for the Republic of Ireland, which, according to the company, has demonstrated its commitment to making further investment in Ireland.
Colman Warde will be responsible for developing and growing Scotts’ Turf and Amenity, Ornamental Horticulture and Speciality Agriculture sectors in the region, and will provide a ‘local’ support for customers.
Warde has been working with National Agrochemical Distributos, the company’s distributor partner in Ireland, for the past nine years, where he was technical manager and technical area sales manager. He also has a diploma in Commercial Horticulture, and, says the company, has developed a ‘strong technical reputation’ with key professional end-users in Ireland.
Warde commented: “This is an exciting challenge for me and I am delighted to be working with a company of Scotts’ reputation. I am very familiar with their product range across all divisions of the business, and it is second-to-none in the industry. My aim is to grow their business in Ireland and provide a high level of technical support.”
