Fresh herbs are having a renaissance, with hardly a day going by in the food world without someone advocating a particular dish stuffed with delicate greens.

It’s about time too. For some reason we lost our way with herbs and while dried are all very well, nothing beats the taste and smell of fresh. Storage appears to be the main reason for shunning fresh cut but there have been leaps and bounds in packaging, with the latest twist coming from Nature’s Flavours, which is using Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) to bring the best fresh cut herbs to consumers.
